This Weekend at FCC...
SATURDAY, November 22
2:00-4:00 p.m., progressive Community Hymn Sing at All Souls Unitarian Universalist, 730 N. Tejon; First Church of Christ, Scientist (immediately north of FCC); and First Christian Church, with treats after the singing. Bring your family, friends and neighbors for the joy of singing hymns! SUNDAY, November 23
WORSHIP! On this Thanksgiving Sunday, at worship at both the 8:15 and 11:00 a.m. Associate Pastor Katherine Raley will be preaching. It's also "Bring a Turkey to Church" day! Bring your frozen turkeys, and members of our Missions & Outreach Team will deliver them to Ecumencial Social Ministries (which uses almost 400 turkeys this time of year to help feed needy families). Our Elders will begin selling tickets for a chance to win this beautiful quilt; all proceeds go to the Elders Fund (which FCC's Elders use to help folks in urgent situations); the drawing will be December 14.

Saturday, December 6, 3:00 p.m. annual Advent Festival! Fun for all ages, including prize drawings (benefiting the Heifer Project International and the Tennyson Center for Children), crafts, cake walks, and a special visitor. Concludes with attending a performance of "Amahl and the Night Visitors," then getting a provided meal to take with you to attend the annual Festival of Lights Parade.
